• The Academy of Information Technology and Business Services prepares students for global business and computer technology. The Academy of Information Technology & Business Services offers students two exciting and profitable career strands such as Computer Electronics Technology and International Business.  Internships may be available. 

In the International Business strand, students focus on accounting, international business, business finance and personal law.  The purpose
of this program is to prepare students for entry-level management trainee positions in the international business environment.  Students are introduced  to the concept of a global economy with attention given to economic, cultural, and political factors affecting international business.  Program completers develop the appreciation, knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to work and live in a global marketplace.  The appropriate Career Student Organization for this strand is Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).  This organization  provides leadership and technical skills and activities for students as an integral part of the instructional components.

In the Computer Electronics Technology strand, students are prepared for employment as PC Support Technicians, help desk technicians, computer repair technicians, computer sales persons and software testers or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupations.  The appropriate Career Student Organization for this strand is SkillsUSA; it provides leadership and technical skills, as well as activities for students as an integral part of the instructional components.

 

The Academy of Information Technology and Business Services maintains a priority goal of consistently exposing all student members to the highest quality of education standards merged with corporate policies in an effort to develop initiative, professionalism and work ethics.
