The Social Studies Department at Robert Morgan Educational Center is dedicated to the concept of quality education. The Department has six Advanced Placement Courses in World History, European History, American History, United States Government, Economics, and Psychology. The Department has six major courses that are offered at the Honors level, and offers Destination Geography for the Academy of Tourism. Located in the “U” building of the north campus, students soon realize that this Department has a unique quality of instruction that involves all the students. The Social Studies Department has received educational grants totaling over $100,000 dollars and is the current Miami-Dade champion for the Geography Bee. Students in “our” Department can travel to Washington, D.C. for Close-Up, and students have been active in the Model U.N. in New York City. Robert Morgan’s Social Studies Department is proud to state, “A Pirate’s Treasure is Never Enough!”

“To advance the education of each and every student that enters our doors.”
